Nicholas joined the LightBox team in the summer of 2022 after having worked with the group as an intern the prior year. He started his lighting career in the theater but expanded his interests to architectural lighting while working toward his master’s degree at Parsons School of Design in Manhattan. During the course of his studies, he discovered a passion for sustainability and biophilic design and his master’s thesis project demonstrated how lighting design can facilitate the greater integration of plants in the built environment. He supports the LightBox team by performing calculations and rendering lighting concepts to ensure the success of each project.
